I need to lose a few pounds in an emergency.......how best?

I'm not overweight but I could do with trimming up as all my clothes are tight.

I was eating healthily in the Spring and lost a few pounds, everything felt better. Over the summer, I stopped walking the school run, enjoyed our holiday, and now I'm feeling all heavy again.

I'm walking and I've cut back on carbs. Drinking loads of water, smoothies and homemade soup, not too much crap.

Problem is, i have a Ball to go to in just over two weeks and there is no way that all my healthy eating is going to make much of a difference in time. Has anyone done these daft "eating two bowls of cereal and a normal tea" things? With good effect? (I never have before)

I know if I lose then I'll put it on again but I thought it might just get me where I need to be and then kick start me.............

Whats the opinion on crashing?

Run. Don't eat. Drink 3 litres water a day.

Go to M&S & buy one of those girdle things (sorry, I know they're not called that anymore, don't know what the current name is) that hold you in from tum down to tops of thighs. They are brilliant, don't seem to squeeze it all over the top like dough...

You won't be able to eat/walk but you'll look great in your dress!

Get yourself Jason Vales "7Ibs in 7 days" book, a juicer and a blender....it really does work and it makes you feel so much better...your system gets a good ole flush out....obviously you are not going to lose 7Ibs of fat....but you will still feel the difference in your clothes

Pinios, that way you will lose mostly muscle though

I know over exaggerating ever so slightly but you get the drift.

alcohol does, it's awful. Though, it's wine and beer that's the worst, a g&t isn't actually that bad. Apparently the calories in alcohol are easily utilised by the body so the first thing it will store as fat - or something along those lines. Whatever it was, it is Very Bad.

I start off a week with good intentions - not to drink until friday and usually make it til about tues.
