Finally reached complete fed upness with it.

I could list the many things I hate - essentially nothing fits and cellulite.

So I am going to start over the next couple of weeks. In fact I am going to start on 14 Sept as I need to set a date.

Next steps by 14 Sept - defrost freezer, make a healthy meal plan, food shop, batch cook, go swimming, join the gym.

Were they a success?

Yes! The both fit! I joined the leisure centre and have managed to swim a bit. Hoping to get into a routine of at least 3 times a week. I have a knee issue but the swimming seems to be good for it and I forgot how much I love being in the water.
Also managing some batch cooking and meal planning. Baby steps but on the right track.

Calories good today and got all my steps in for first time in ages.
Protein not too bad. Must do a workout tomorrow.

Ahhh still didn't do a workout and got a Chinese takeaway instead. Would be alright but I'm out for food tomorrow night too and drinks on Saturday. Very scared that this will undo my good work.

Your plan actually sounds like a really sensible place to start. Having the freezer sorted, meals planned and some swimming or gym sessions already in the diary gives you something concrete to work towards rather than trying to change everything overnight
