As much as possible in 4 weeks - how?

I'm 5ft 2, 11st 9, I go on holiday in 4 weeks.
I want to loose as much as possible in those 4 weeks.
Long term I want to be under 10st but clearly thats not achievable in 4 weeks.

I'm considering fasting / fast 800, slimming world and maybe shakes but not sure.
What would you do?

Limit carbohydrate as much as you can. Eat protein, lots of veg, limited fruit, no sugary snacks and lots of water. It works! Weight will fall off - although you might not make a huge difference to the way you look in just 4 weeks you will feel great!
My stats are almost exactly the same as yours. I’m 11st 6 but only 5ft 1, and also have a holiday ‘deadline’ although mine’s in 13 weeks. Good luck.

Agree this is the best advice and has worked really well for me at banishing water retention but also maintaining muscle.

Agree with the above, I’ll just add, if possible I’d probably add some weighted workouts too (even if it’s home dumbbell workouts).

I lost a stone in 3 weeks with 1:1 Cambridge diet. Basically shakes and other high protein bars and products Three products a day and then one small low calorie meal around 400 cals I think it was. I would definitely do it again if I needed to lose weight quickly.

Newname26 · 27/06/2026 21:14

Were you able to keep it off with Cambridge?

Strict keto. Basically high fat, high protein, practically zero carbs or sugar. You’d need to keep an eye on calories (depending on your BMR and TDEE) but you will feel fuller due to the fat intake so easier to keep calories low.

Would be really hard for four weeks, but definitely doable.

In my experience, 16-8 fasting and avoiding starchy carbs in the eating window would be the best bet.

I lost 22lb in 4 weeks on mounjaro. Just throwing another option into the mix! Same height as you, 5ft 2 and started at 12 stone 9

But that’s not sustainable, is it?

She's asking how much can be lost in 4 weeks so at this point, sustainable doesn't even come in to it. She's after quick!

Yes for about 3 years so far. Really depends if you manage to amend some of your food behaviours afterwards tbh. I normally do OK at home day to day but big events like holidays and Christmas usually cause me problems and I overeat and then if I don't bother to cut back and lose the few pounds afterwards - it then builds up. That's how it works with me anyway.

Newname26 · 04/07/2026 20:58

Right I'm a lb and half down since last Saturday.

What approach did you take @Newname26?

Newname26 · 05/07/2026 09:40

Cutting carbs and old fashioned calorie counting.
