Anyone tried 16:8 fasting and when did you notice results?

I’m literally on day two of winging it at a new way of eating. So I’m doing 16hour fast. I have breakfast at 10am and then dinner by 6pm. So that’s two meals. I’m making them heavily protein based and filling. Today I had approx 1165 calories.
I have an office job son not a lot of movement in the day.
My aim is to workout for a half hour 2-3 times a week and walk 2 times also.

Has anyone done similar and how fast did you see/feel results? I’m 41 and 5ft2 and I weigh just under 10 stone I reckon.

Also any food suggestions would be greatly appreciated ☺️

I’ve been doing this regime for approximately 2 years now. I’ve lost over a stone in this time, which is the weight I’d gained from the menopause. I didn’t weigh myself regularly but suddenly noticed my clothes were looser. I always have overnight oats, I make a mixture with nuts, crystallised ginger, goji berries, pumpkin seeds. I make a batch and store it for the week.

I eat breakfast at 11am, sometimes I’m not hungry after this so my next meal is dinner. Tonight I’ve had a burger with fries, my portions aren’t massive. I enjoy this regime and find it really easy. I eat most foods in moderation and don’t go without, if I fancy a bit of chocolate I’ll have some, always dark chocolate.

Even for fasting, it comes down to the calories your body has access to. 1165 for your size might bring a deficit but it depends what these calories are.
Fasting is one of the many ways to reduce overall calories intake.
You will know if you lose weight. If you don’t or lose just a tiny amount, it might not be the right method for you.

I’m doing high protein and low carb. I’ve never really tried anything before to be honest so here’s hoping it will have some benefit ☺️

You are combining two ways of restricting calories, low carb and fasting, with one targeting the choice of food, the other the frequency of food.. You are also calorie counting since you monitor your intake.
All these methods combined should work. Weight fluctuates a lot, so the best way to know if you are going in the right direction is to jump on the scale every day and then do a weekly average.
I am sure you will see benefit!

Note to self- get a scale 😅
