Petite women under 5ft! How do you do it?!

For all my fellow petite women …
how many calories do you eat daily to lose weight? And how many calories to maintain? Actually realise being just under 5ft is damn hard when trying to lose weight and restrict calories

It is hard! I'm 4 ft 9" and have always been trying to lose that half stone since my teens. I am 8.5 stone which is just on the outer edge of healthy BMI... It's evening snacks that are my downfall.....

Sorry, didn't actually answer your question!! When I add it up I would say around 1200 calories to lose it and probably only 1500 per day to maintain. But that's with running (fast walking/running) 3 times per week, 30 mins each time...

Same for me as well with the evening snacks! I think being short makes weight loss feel harder like I probably would have to eat 1000kcal a day to lose weight. I would like to lose 5kg to feel better in myself but finding it hard. Plus also feeling hungry 😆

I’m 1100 for maintenance (only possible for me with WLI) as I was starving all the time on that. When I was losing on the drug I was eating 900 a day, very slow weight over 18 months to get to 7.5-8 stone.

I will never be able to come off them as 1100 calories is completely impossible to stick to without crying with hunger

Also I’m peri menopausal so even harder not to be hungry as oestrogen levels which fluctuate so massive in peri are a huge driver

I am 5ft. I am overweight at 11 stone. I have been eating around 900 calories a day for the last 6 months or so and have lost 8lbs. Tbh, last time I got down to 9st I was eating around 500 calories a day and supplementing with iron and multi vitamin supplements. It wasn't realistic. Ive gained my weight by believing a PT who said I could eat 1450 calories a day whilst lifting. I obviously couldn't.
I have a very physical job that i work 4 on 4 off basis. On a work day I average 20000 steps and I always do a 20minute dumb bell session at home. On the 4 days I dont work I gym. I brisk uphill walk for 45 minutes, brisk row for 15 minutes and also resistance train at least 6 to 8 different areas. Some days to push my resistance training I will drop the 15 minutes rowing. If I feel energised still after resistance training I will go on the step machine for 10 to 20 minutes.
Its a miserable constant battle. I sadly have a negative attitude to food. I no longer allow eating out or socialising to eat. I have no option but to restrain what I eat, so I eat for nutrition and fuel and not enjoyment.
If I go on holiday or a rare night out i pay for it on the scales and it takes along time to shift so I rarely allow myself to deviate anymore.
Although I drive I practice, walking locally, parking far away etc. Where ever I go I take stairs not lifts and never choose the short cut/quick option. This is an automatic default in my everyday life.

And sadly, im still a fat fuck!! Infuriating!!
