Tummy tuck surgeon recommendations in Yorkshire and realistic recovery expectations as a busy Mum

Hi, I live in West Yorkshire and I am researching surgeons who carry out Tummy Tucks in the UK. One I've shortlisted works at Spire and he is called Ajay Mahajan.

Has anyone had any surgery in yorkshire that can recommend any other surgeons I can consider?

Anyone on here had surgery with Dr Mahajan that can provide an honest review?

I'm super excited but naturally nervous so need to ensure I'm 100% happy with my surgeon.

I am also quite nervous about how I'll cope in recovery as I'll still have to be a mum but I'll have lots of help. Is it quite unreasonable to think I'll be up and about after a week and able to help with school drop off? I have a 9 year old so he's fairly self sufficient but I am the main default parent! My partner will book a week off work to help me but then I'll have to try do the school drop offs. However happy to navigate around with taxis etc if needed. I've waited years for this surgery as I wanted to make sure my child was older so I'm hoping it's the right time!

They say you shouldn’t drive for approx 6 wks after c section to ensure you can safely brake so that’s one consideration. A friend had a tummy tuck and breast reduction but I don’t think she was fit to do school run in a week.

She had a relative move in for several weeks to help but had three young children. Oldest one was maybe about 9/10; youngest 2.
