Completed my first two days of not out of control eating

Gave myself December off as I have been counting calories for pretty much all of 2025. No jabs (with success). Well that was a mistake. Found it so difficult to get back to normal, balanced eating. Waking up and grabbing leftover pudding became quickly ingrained 😳.

I have finally managed to do two days in a row of being in a deficit and eating plenty of fruits and veg. Only 10 days behind schedule. But I’m so glad I actually have been able to do it. Starting is always the hardest.

I do not want to completely undo all that hard work!

Scary how quickly those bad habits return.

Just wanted to share as I was getting very anxious.

Good luck to anyone else returning to ‘normal’ after a Christmas blow out.

Ive definitely gained weight but it can be lost! And it’s only 6 or 7 pounds and not 25! Reckon that can be off in a month or two if I don’t do anything ridiculous

Bit disappointed in myself today. I was hoping to do 7 days of keto. Day 6 today and caved by having some homemade bread. I make it for the kids. It just smelt so yeasty (in a good way). Oh well I still will be in a defect and that’s what matters. I think the keto thing served its purpose and going forward I won’t be as strict. It’s never been sustainable for me. But I do find it helps when you are going cold tuekey.

(at least it’s not a whole tray of crumble which I may or may not have eaten on NYD)
