How do you find a good nutritionist?

I could obviously search online. However, I wonder how you know whether a particular practitioner is what you’re looking for. I am seeking someone who can sort out my macros so that I can shed some kilos but have enough fuel to train and build muscle. I have tried apps etc myself but think I need the support of a professional human! Thanks

You don’t. Nutritionist is not a protected title and they could have 0 qualifications in the field.

You seek a dietitian - they are the qualified practitioners in diet in the medical / health / weight loss field. They are accredited and monitored by the HCPC. Check their degree and experience is relevant and they should be good to work with as if they’re giving incorrect or outdated advice they can be reported and struck off.
