Hi
After many failed attempts to lose weight I have at last lost 3 stone.I am delighted to have done this and have been able to maintain the weight loss for 2years.
The disappointing aspect is I have so many more wrinkles on my face legs and arms.
I am 70 and know that seems ancient to many but I like to be modern and keep my hair and makeup up to date.
I use moisturiser and have started renew+me at night.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Definitely look at strength training if you're not doing that already. Not just for the wrinkles but it's so important for post menopausal women for bone health etc.

Thanks for your support ladies.I am delighted I’ve lost the weight and realise skin doesn’t just ping back into place.I wouldn’t dream of cosmetic surgery and should be happy that I am healthy.Maybe investigate strength training

I am just basing this on stuff I have seen on YouTube but similar to the pp I think building muscle is a possible option - so add in resistance training. As we get older women in particular need more protein anyway. Maybe track your calories for a couple of days and then tweak the macros to increase your protein and just keep upping it gradually and slightly reducing carbs and potentially fats. You could even try leaving your fat and carbs the same and just increasing protein first as you might not gain fat - if the scale starts to go up more than a couple of pounds then obviously cut back on carbs a little. .Apparently a decent amount of water, berries and veg and oily fish are also important for skin to look good so don’t miss these out.

I was recently taking a fair few supplements including collagen and creatine and I have noticed after stopping for a couple of weeks that my face looks slightly wrinklier again (am late 40s) so maybe give those a try. apparently creatine makes people hold water so that might have been plumping my face?? Not sure but it is well studied and useful for women apparently, not just for body builders.

finally skin care is probably worth looking into, but I am clueless on that
