who takes creatine? Would you recommend what you take please??

I read up on it and decided I would take it. My friend recommended the tablets from Bulk.
but. After 2 months of taking them I cannot bear them!!!
5 massive tablets. HUGE
My throat is beginning to complain about them.

Any recommendations appreciated please.

  • is there a powder I can add to my collagen hot chocolate? Might be easier than massive tablets!!!

Take 5g of any creatine monohydrate. Powder is tasteless and can be mixed into anything.

I buy whichever "creapure" creatine monohydrate powder is cheapest. (Creapure is a trademark due to the method of production) as I understand that it has less GI issues than the "acid wash" version.

It doesn't taste of anything but doesn't really dissolve either so it can be a bit gritty. I stick it in my morning smoothie with collagen etc so I don't notice it.

I use Freesoul products. Seem to be ok.

Thanks guys. Will see what I can find on offer.

Go with the cheapest creatine monohydrate powder; it's a basic thing where they're all the same.

If you're losing weight at the same time, just be aware that it can cause a bit of superficial bloat/ water retention so can affect data on the scales, but not fat loss. If you're taking it to promote muscle development, that's far better for your health than a kg gain.

The cheaper powders often seem a bit more gritty but they all can be mixed into drinks and not make a significant change to the tast.
