My husband said I should accept that I'm a voluptuous mom

I'm 35 years and my daughter is 7. I was thin before my pregnancy. During my adult life before my pregnancy, I was between 125 lb to 140 lb at my 5 feet 8 inches tall frame. I had gained a massive amount of weight during and after pregnancy. 5 years ago I was 247 lb at my heaviest.

I've been between 180 lb to 200 lb for almost a year now. Today I weigh 186 lb. I eat right and I work out almost everyday. I track my calories and my marcos.

Today, my husband told me that I should just accept that I'm a voluptuous mom. He said plenty of women never get thin again after having a baby. It does feel hopeless than I'll lose anymore weight.

What does your normal daily menu look like? What workout are you doing? How active are you day to day? PT here, happy to offer some insight.

I use Google and search up the calories and marcos of my foods. I measure it whether it's by pounds, kilograms, 100 grams, or 1 measuring up.

The actual food includes avocado, salmon, apples, brocooli, ect.

By my calculations, which maybe flawed, there are days I only eat 1000 calories per day. I try not to go above 1800 calories.

We have multiple stationary bicycles at home. I try to ride for at least 30 minutes per day.

I'd recommend adding some weight training in, and trying to lead an active lifestyle outside of targeted exercise (swapping lifts for stairs, car for walking, gardening, taking heavy bins out).

I haven't done the weight training and maybe I should.

But I do live actively outside of exercise. Yard work, cleaning, and playing with my daughter.

You may be aiming too low with your calories, 1500 a day may actually see weight loss happen, your body may feel that 1000 is not enough so it’s hanging on to any excess.

Weight lifting is good for bone density, which we start losing every year after 30 if not strength training. The recommendation is 3 x a week for an hour each.

Really ? Losing weight is so annoyingly complicated.

Plus the more muscle you have, the better you metabolise your food. But you do still need to be in a cal deficit to lose any weight. What you're eating sounds really healthy, but if your weight is staying the same that suggests you're eating more than you think.

Do you know what your TDEE is? I would work that out and then keep your daily calories at 500 below your TDEE.
