Is there actually a way to get rid of bingo wings?

I am 45 and avoid anything that shows the tops of my arms, due to the dreaded bingo wings. they are not huge but i am conscious of them. is there a way to reduce them? weights? diet? collagen? or do i just embrace them and wear what i like?

Press ups. Hands close together though not like normal press ups.

Try against the worktop first and continue until muscles tire.

Weights but it’s focusing on triceps not just biceps. Triceps are much smaller muscle and quite hard to train. My wobbly arms are better than they used to be but I have to do tricep targeted weights. Diamond tricep press and skull crushers

Yes, growing your triceps will help.

Though I hate to be the bearer of bad news… once we hit a certain age, loose skin is just a fact for most of us. I’m very fit and muscular and have decent arm and shoulder muscle but I still get the waggly bit under my arm when I wave. There’s nowt wrong with my weight or muscle tone but I’m 48 and my skin is just doing its own thing now. I daresay surgery would be the only way to get rid of them completely and I’m not rich or vain enough to do that.

It's loose skin so I don't think there's much you can do. Building muscles would only make a difference if you want to build bug enough muscles to fill the loose skin wouldn't it?

I'd love it if I'm wrong. I've not worn anything sleeveless since I got stretch marks on my upper arms when I was 13 nearly 20;years ago!

Not really in my view, 2 years of weights and still have them. Oh well.

My friend is 64, and just lost 3st swimming 5x a week over the summer, nothing else no injections or diet. She has not got any loose skin I presume because of the swimming as she is more muscular, and looks great although she moans she could do with losing a further 3st. (Am I entitled to roll my eyes, because she looks fine, perhaps slightly chubby if you must, but she is busty and looks a darn sight better than the rest of us, my neighbour refused to believe she was 64)

Strength training specifically for tricep muscles, and overall fat loss through calorie burning exercise, plus a protein rich healthy diet, would eventually work. If you focus on building muscle and burning fat then your arms will look firmer and be leaner. Having said that, I am very strong, fit, and muscular but it remains one of the more stubborn areas!

Why do people keep saying to build muscles? The bingo wings are skin, you can't really firm it up unless your bulking it out with muscles.

Because muscle fills out the areas? It’s exactly as you said, it fills it out? This is how I, and others did it, you can bulk up a muscle behind it to fill it out and make it less wobbly/saggy. I have loose skin and had lumpy bits all over from 5st weight loss and weight training has evened out so many of these areas and appear more toned, you won’t look like The Rock or Hulk Hogan don’t worry 😂
