I weighed myself today for the first time in ages and was devastated to realise I am 1st 3lbs heavier than I thought that I was. I am a larger person anyway, if I had to guess I would have said I was around 16st (which is what I was the last time I weighed) so this was a massive shock. I guess I just don’t know where to go from here. I have developed some joint pain and found walking a bit harder in the last few months and although I knew it was down to being overweight I also had convinced myself that at least part of it was due to getting older and creeping towards 40. I need to lose weight, and in theory I know that means eating less and moving more… but I have never ever been able to stick to that. If you have successfully lost a significant amount of weight, what are your best tips? How did you stick to it long term? I honestly
cant even put into words how awful I feel right now.
