Weight loss and saggy skin

Can anyone recommend any tips / suggestions on how to prevent saggy skin from weight loss? I have lost 4 stone and no saggy skin as yet, but I need to loose another 7-8 stone. I’m 41 and have never had children - not sure if that is of any relevance at all re hormones etc.

I have done a pinch test on the back of my hand to assess elasticity and it pings back, but the skin on my boobs is quite loose 🤷🏻‍♀️

Any help is appreciated

Go slow. That can help give skin time to retract as you lose. But honestly losing 11-12 stone that’s 50kg you are very unlikely to have no loose skin.

well done losing so well so far and remember it’s your health at risk which is so much more important than loose skin. But yeah i get it. You’ve been big for a while and it would be nice to feel good and not have a new thing to fret about.

can you consider surgery

Like yakkity said I get around this by focusing on the health benefit of losing the weight. Like a weight loss tax. I'm a bit older than you so less collagen etc so yes, the loose skin is a thing which bothers me on a bad day, but I wouldn't swap it for the weight back.
I wish I'd done more toning/weights exercises as I went along. I don't know how big a difference it would have made, but I guess that would be my recommendation for the last bit of your weightloss.
I've wasted hours of my life on the internet researching only to find that other than surgery there's not really much to do about it. You can lose weight but you cant turn back the clock sort of thing.
I find that good moisturisers help, particularly on the face/neck. Not really any particular cream but just keeping the skin well moisturised. But other than that I just try and pull myself back from focusing on it, or to fix my brain on the benefits of the weight loss.
