Flying to Greece tomorrow, how do I avoid gaining all the weight back?

Will spend the next week in Kos, Greece. So excited and a much needed holiday but am a bit scared I will gain back the weight I have lost over the past few months. How can I stay on track? I have small DC so will be st the beach a lot, cannot go on hiking adventures etc. no gym in the hotel.
I am thinking greek yogurt with honey and a bit of nuts for breakfast, then for lunch I can get away with a greek salad (depending on whether it is available at the beach bar) but dinner is an issue as I have a big appetite and dining out is our favourite part of going away. Lots of delicious lamb dishes, gyros pita etc. How do you stay on track when on holiday?

I always seem to lose weight on holiday.
I tend to have a largish breakfast which keeps me going until around lunch. Then I'll have some fruit, nothing like fresh juicy melon on holiday.
Then I have dinner around 6pm. I try to have fresh, real food. No chips etc.
Works a treat.
I always find the heat decreased my appetite and the freshness of the food makes me crave the fruit, veg and seafood over the fatty junk.

It's a week. You will not gain back ALL that weight in a week. Give yourself some space to enjoy your holiday.

With that in mind, take advantage of fresh veg/salad/fruit, keep the booze levels down, only have half the bread you would normally and do you really need chips?

Have fun

Have just come back from holiday and no weight gain. I think eating lots of protein based meals like souvlaki chicken and grilled fish helped keep me full. Avoided chips and pasta and went for veggies/salads with meals instead. Also limited alcohol to a couple of drinks a day and no booze days. Diet drinks otherwise. No snacking except fruit. No desserts. However, Greek food is so fresh and tasty it wasn't too hard. Also made sure to do my steps which probably helped as it was so 🔥 so probably burnt more calories.

Boring I know and it's a pain thinking about what you can't eat, rather than what you can but you will feel better for it. Enjoy your hols, Greece is fabulous.

The heat zaps your appetite, lots of hydrating drinks, water melon etc

It will be very warm, so you are likely to have less of an appetite.

Yoghurt & fruit, meat or fish and salad, very few carbs, little alcohol.

Plenty of swimming, larking around in the pool.

I've just come back from Africa 15 days. I'd lost about 12 pounds before I went. Food was fabulous 3 courses for lunch and dinner (safari). Drank a little every day. I put on 4 pounds and some of that will be fluid retention after the flight.
Just don't go wild. Keep to salads/low carbs and watch the alcohol. You'll be ok.

You cant put on months of lost weight in one week

When you get back, do not step on the scales, wait a month. You will put on a little bit, perhaps a few pounds. On top of that will be water retention so another few pounds

You might see about 6 or 7lbs extra on those scales and you'll plummet into despair and then start eating badly.

So dont look at the scales, just jump straight back on whatever regime you're on and wait for a month.

I don't like alcohol so that's not an issue. It's mainly restaurant meals I am a bit worried about as I usually get to dinner time that I am hungry and wanting to eat all the delicious food

And I haven't lost that much weight which is why I am saying it's actually easy for me to gain it all back in a week or most of it (I have implemented minor changes that are sustainable so I am losing but just slowly)
