Ideas for loose skin

Hey 👋

I have been on major weight loss journey, but aimed to loose weight slowly. 2 years and 40kg gone. I do a little bit of exercise but struggle time wise, however I think I will need to start to do more to avoid things becoming to flabby.

The worst area for me is arms and thighs.

Can anyone recommend exercises to help tone those? Any non surgical treatments that really made the difference like HIFU ?

Thanks ☺️

Hello , well done on the weight loss. I to am worried about losses skin, only lost 2st so far but another 3 to go. I am losing slowly too to hope that helps and bought some collagen tablets (that I remember to take no and again).

I came across this advice, so may start the dry brushing and fasting.

Weight lifting really helped me. I’m talking compound lifts with barbells like deadlifts, back squats and bench presses.

I never thought I’d be confident wearing vests but I am now. It’s made an enormous difference.

I am hoping to do some more at home. Sceptical how much it will help though 😑

Weights will help. Plus women should do them anyway as they help with bone density.

By weights I don’t mean a couple of 3kg dumbbells but heavier and building on to that as you develop. Do you have a gym you can use?

Weights at home are unlikely make a significant difference. You need to be lifting heavy and doing a progressive overload, so increasing the weight or the rep each time.

I have proper weights at home, not 100kg of course but I cant lift that much anyway. Id go gym but you can never get on the weights, always men around 😑

It’s an amazing how quickly you can increase weights for compound lifts. I do 60-80kg, depending on the exercise.

And you have just as much right to be in the weighs section of the gym as any man who owns a membership.
