I am going through a period where I am hungry all the flipping time. I want to eat / snack during the day and when I work from home this is very dangerous as I will grab crisps or something convenient. I would like to fill the fridge and cupboard with healthier options. Fruit for sure but what else? I'd love to hear go-to healthy options please (and yes, I am drinking a glass of water first but still hungry!)

Bananas, I know they are fruit but they are also quite filling. Also Greek yoghurt, start with some honey to sweeten and gradually reduce till you can eat it plain. It is filling and not moreish. If you like hummus you could have that with veg sticks.

I have fruit (dried or fresh), Tesco poppy and sesame seed thins (20 cal a cracker I think) cream crackers (35 cals), chopped carrot. Drink a cup of tea or a hot chocolate made with minimal milk. I try not to snack (do intermittent fasting) but if I do I stick to the above.

Vegetables Grin.

Sorry. Seriously though - if you want something you can eat and eat without being too mindful of quantities, apples, celery, carrots etc are it. And herbal tea.

Fruit or jelly pots in the tinned fruit section (go for fruit in juice, not syrup)

Dried fruit and nut pouches - Whitworths shots type thing.

Chocolate rice cakes or snack a jacks

Fresh fruit

Hummus or a dip with carrot/cucumber/celery sticks

Popcorn (plain or the Proper Popcorn type bags under 140cal)

I'm not weightwatching but I don't keep food that beckons me in the house, or I put it out of sight.
Crisps, biscuits, icecream etc make one hungrier.
Eat a proper breakfast and lunch and don't eat between meals.

Protein snacks!! Babybel, cottage cheese, boiled eggs. I really like the chocolate and caramel protein bars from Aldi.
