tullytwo, have you spoken to your gp about trying Metformin? I think you might need to be referred in order to have it prescribed as it's not currently approved to treat PCOS, and you will probably have to have blood tests to check your blood sugar and insulin levels. If you have a look at the message boards on a PCOS site like Verity there is plenty of discussion about it there.

I was on Xenical for about a year its good it did help me loose some of the weight I didnt have a problem with leakage as I was very carefull about the fat intake I think as long as you keep to a low fat diet you will be fine. there is a good web site for people using xenical its
