Are you in the 10% or so that kept the weight off long term?

If so, what do you credit for it? What did you do in the weight loss phase to prepare for the long term?
I'm just about at maintenance. I've made huge lifestyle changes. But just want to see from those who have, how you've managed it?

I lost over 3 stone, 11 years ago. I went from over 12 stone to 9 stone 2 or so. I put back on one stone about 2 years ago (when I went back to work full time) but lost that stone a year ago.

I have to be very disciplined 5 days a week, less so at weekends. I don’t calorie count, but don’t think I eat more than 1,500 calories a day.
I hardly ever eat takeaways. I don’t mindlessly eat, for instance I wouldn’t eat biscuits with my coffee, maybe just one. All my meals are planned.

I walk as much as possible. I go for a one hour hilly walk most days, and intentionally increase my steps by doing things like taking stairs and not parking too close to the door of the supermarket

It probably sounds boring and very restrictive, but it’s second nature to me now and I enjoy being slim, more than I enjoyed binge eating

Sounds great to me. I'm doing all those things, so it gives me hope! I've lost 7st, so I knew it had to be a lifestyle overhaul. The last year in particular has been a drastic change in my activity and fitness levels. I've kept 5st off for 3 years in the past but I didn't make the lifestyle overhaul. This time, hopefully, I have.
