Hormone balancing /cortisol supplements etc

Hi all. I am being bombarded online by multiple supplement brands, all claiming to help me lose the dreaded meno belly by either helping with hormones, reducing inflammation and cortisol etc etc etc. I have tried exercise, I eat healthily, I don’t drink, I sleep well at night. But over past few years (I’m 52 and been on HRT for over five years), I’ve put on nearly two stone which just will not shift!! I am getting desperate. Can anyone recommend anything? I’m reluctant to believe any of the online reviews of these products as it’s probably all just marketing nonsense, but I’m prepared to pay for something that actually works! Help a fellow woman in need! Many thanks ☺️

I am not sure I buy into all this marketing stuff. A lot of it is just expensive rubbish with a nice label. The only thing that seems to legit work are weight loss injections

It appears that weight loss injections work by essentially suppressing your appetite and ‘quieting’ any food cravings. I don’t have these. In fact I have to make myself eat something sometimes in order to keep protein levels up etc. so I’m not sure thy would be the best option for me.

I don’t think there is a magic supplement answer though. Fat is fat so to speak, regardless of where it sits on you, there isn’t really a supplement that I’m aware of that has specific belly reduction properties. They might claim to but they don’t. The only thing shown to work and be scientifically proven and regulated for weight loss are the jabs. Perhaps You need to see a GP to get examined as to whether you have an enlarged abdomen for a medical reason if it’s not related to food intake at all. If you notice the weight loss jabs don’t mention cortisol and nothing clinical has been invented for it specifically really and the reason for this is because it’s an unproven theory (cortisol links/theory). You can find a lot of info online but when I last looked it was not what it seems and people have taken some anecdotal studies and made £££££ from selling unproven products to desperate people
