Lost almost 2 stone, more to go minimising saggy skin

I am tall and have lost almost 2 stone so far steadily with healthy eating, gym and extra steps but I still have a lot more to go. How can I minimise saggy skin on tummy as I go and avoid looking older and too gaunt/ill facially?

Well done on your weight loss. You can’t really choose where you lose weight so it might come off your face. Don’t lose too much too fast I think helps. I have areas of loose skin I am a woman in my 40’s who had pregnancies and lost a lot of weight so I have to remind myself I am not going to look like someone in their 20’s from instagram or a celeb so don’t compare yourself. Exercise helps with toning up as you fill out the areas of muscle.

Thank you. The weight has come off since mid August so not too quick. I am late fifties. I am using MyFitness Pal, have joined a small and friendly gym class with an instructor and I go three times a week (most weeks), I have increased my water intake and I have also increased my daily steps. I also have some treats and nights out etc so not obsessive.

I would say two stones since mid August is not too quick but it is quite fast.
Are you including healthy fats and protein in your diet? Nutrient dense food intake will really help. Salmon, sardines, avocado, olive oil, lots of vegetables and fruit. You can also get a nice oil and massage your body with it daily. I find this really helps with toning the skin. There are lots of oils out there depending on your budget. Dry brushing is also good. Lots of water like you're already doing.

Thanks will try that. Yes I joined a local online nutrition thing based on my starting weight she advised on daily calorie intake, protein, water and steps. I eat fish, lean meats, lots of fruit veg, olive oil, greek yogurt, some nuts especially almonds and chia seeds.
