If you are thin and watch intake, do you get hungry?

I need to lose weight, I like the wrong things but get so incredibly hungry when I limit calories. Looking on instagram at fitness experts their portions are so tiny and I wonder if they are genuinely satisified or ravenous and just have great willpower to carry on until the next meal.
I need high fat foods such as yoghurt, hummus, cream cheese, read meat and so on, but I'm no where near satisfied when I restrict to the calorific ration. Salads/green veg does absolutely nothing for me, neither does pasta/rice/bread, so although my stomach is full I'm still hungry, if that makes sense?
I see these yoga women who eat a tiny chicken breast for dinner and 3 cashews as a snack and just cannot relate at all. I used saxenda back in the day and it's the only time I ever lost weight, but don't want to continue on injections as I know as soon as I stop it will be straight back on.
Any advice?

I don’t think anyone needs to starve themselves or feel proper hunger. However I do think it’s necessary to allow yourself to feel peckish, ie not hungry to the point of tummy grumbling but feel like reaching for a snack. If I eat any time I feel peckish I certainly will put on weight.

A lot of the posts on this thread can be read differently depending on what you mean by “hungry”. Some people use it to mean peckish while for others it means really unpleasantly hungry.

I eat very little and sometimes get hungry which I see as a positive and normal thing. I agree with previous posters that a little hunger is not something to be afraid of or avoided.
I’m also learning to distinguish between real hunger and the “boredom” hunger/ needing to snack out of habit or even eat a full meal out of habit-because that’s what you’re meant to do.
I also feel healthier and prefer the feeling of empty stomach to that of being overly full to the point of burping after a meal. I recently stopped eating breakfasts, I never really felt hungry in the morning even as a child my parents had to force me to eat before school. So I stopped eating in the morning just because “everyone does it”. I have less digestive issues now.
I try to eat only when I’m hungry rather than out of habit or just because it’s dinner time. I think people nowadays have a tendency to call eating disorders just because someone skips a meal once a day ( which is completely normal and in no way unhealthy). I do have treats though and I don’t suffer dreaming of chocolate, I just eat it if I crave it, but if that makes me full I might skip the next meal or substitute it with something small.
