Trying to lose 10 pounds in November

I had a baby almost a year ago and I'm still not in my normal clothes! I think in weight terms I'm only about 10 pounds away but could be a little more. So here I am, please jump in, give me some encouragement etc.

I'll be calorie counting and moving more, nothing exciting. I also need to deep clean my house and get some motivation to start some courses or make some massive changes career wise? I'm a bit lost in life at the moment.

Anyone else?

My baby is at university 😂

I'm in - I'm so desperate I started a thread asking about Mounjoro!

Will weigh in when the bathroom's free.

Well I’m failed so far because I wasn’t prepared and the temptation of trick or treat chocolate. I’m on the band wagon today and focusing on no snacks this week.

Good start...you can do it! We've all been there. My DH keeps bringing chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches home - all summer. I told him tonight I am glad winter is here, so he will stop bringing home ice cream anything chocolate.

No loss for me so far… I did walk a lot over the weekend but had takeaways Friday and Saturday night!

I didn’t pack a breakfast or lunch for the office today, I would usually starve myself until I got home and then order a big Chinese, but instead I went out and bought a salad sandwich and fruit. I’m going to stop at Tesco on the way home to buy some random food bits I need too. And not get takeaway!!!

Weigh in today
starting - 101 kg (31st October)
Goal: 96.5kg (-4.5)
current: 99-5
Loss: 1.5kg

really happy with that actually. Back to work was pretty horrific including a 13 hour day for open evening(!) and I took a packet of mini rolls to see me through…
i definitely feel I need more of a graze and I imagine at least some of that is to do with breakfast quality so that’s something to think about tweaking this week.
but we got through the week!! A real family effort 😍

how’s everyone else doing?

@LottieMary that's a great loss! I'm a grazer and emotional eater, and that's the hardest thing, stopping the pointless snacks.

I weighed 8stone 12lbs last Friday, and I weighed the same yesterday. I do weigh myself everyday (don't recommend doing this); and I was up 8stone 13during the week.
My weight seems to fluctuate around the same few pounds for at least a month or so until I actually drop a pound 😩

Can I join please?! Just joined a gym and need a bit of a kick up the arse. I'm currently waiting for a sleep clinic referral as I've got suspected sleep apnea Blush

Anyway, will weigh myself at the gym later and go from there...
