Advice on books/reading material

Hi

i have started this thread after reading a recent mounjaro thread which has given me food for thought!

Background…in my 50’s, post menopause, on HRT, on right level of thyroxine, yo yo dieter, always ending heavier than what my start weight was.
My food issues do not stem from childhood,
My down fall is my mindset is to eat for energy, but I know that eating processed sugary food is not the answer although I press the self destruct button and eat it anyway.

I don’t think a magic expensive injection is for me.

Can anyone recommend a book or reading material to reset my mindset, something to help me understand, accept and change my eating habbits.

Menopausal here too, I’ve lost a couple of stone over the past year going out for brisk early morning walks (before breakfast) and understanding that I can only lose weight slowly because I like my food too much and am not willing to give anything up!

Also a bit of a Francophile so found these two books helpful. Both on Amazon… “Parisian Slim” (only an ebook, but it is quite short) and “French Women Don’t Get Fat” (which is the classic, but a bit dated now.)

Good luck!
