Can you claim your money back if a diet doesn't work?

I've recently paid £125 for products and consultation from herbal life.

In 13 days I have followed it to the letter as well as running, swimming and 3 gym sessions - and I've lost 0.5lb WTF???

I am so mad and frustrated and upset.

My husband reckons I should do it for 2 weeks and if I've not lost anything else ask for my money back but how do I prove that I've stuck to diet. They could just say 'you've been eating mars bars on the sly'

When I signed up it did say £125 for 30day trial - so maybe I have to stick with it till end of the month?

Any advice?

what sort of thing have you been eating seems a bit strange! that amount of exercise alone should help you lose some weight unless that is your regular exercise regime
maybe stick it a little longer or can you not give them a call

the idea of the diet is to cut down carbs and increase protein.

So i've had 2 protein shakes, 2 protein bars (which i've bought off them) then meat with either veg or salad for evening meal. 4/5 pints of water everyday aswell...and that's it.
(no bread,pasta,rice etc)

plus all the exercise ( i do, do a lot of exercise anyway but I should also point out that I am 3 stone overweight and have a BMI of 30 so am far from at ideal weight)

Am utterly baffled - I am on anti d's but doc reckons they won't make any difference to my weight.

does seem strange how old are you? could be a hormonal thing if you are over 40 sorry if you are nt but remember when my mum was trying to lose weight and really sticking to diet doc said it was hormonal

nope, am 33!

it drives me nuts and makes me want to cry. I've asked doctor about it and told him how much i'm eating and how much exercise i do and he just tells me 'burn more calories than you eat' and 'don't worry too much about your weight' ...oh ok, problem solved then...NOT! grrrr....

Seeing as you've paid for it and it is a 30 day thing, I would suggest you carry on. It could take a while to kick in.
On diets previously, I've often not lost anything for the 1st week then about 5lbs in the 2nd.
Have you lost any inches?
