Just what the title says really, had my dd 22months ago, swore blind I wouldn't put on as much weight as I did in my first pregnancy, but lo and behold here I am at the biggest I have ever been and hating my lack of motivation for even trying to shift this weight, I know I can do it, I lost 4.5 stone just before I got pregnant with the help of a PT and found my love of fitness and gym again, but it seems this time I don't have time to scratch my ass with work and the baby and a unsupporting DP, 😩

I know what you mean. It's so hard. I've gained 10kg over the last year after losing 14kg. It's all down to food, you could try calorie counting

It's so exhausting being pregnant with a toddler. My advice as someone older than you is that you need to sort out the unsupportive husband part first, or you're going to be run ragged with two kids and work for the next 18 years, with no time and energy to look after yourself.

Decide what you want him to take on, what would be fair, and insist that he steps up. Then use that bit of extra energy to focus on your own nutrition and exercise.

Good luck!

Over the course of three years due to an auto immune disease and the medication needed I gained 3 stone.

I'd never been so heavy even when I was due with each of my dc.

I've had a hard couple of years weight wise and absolutely hating how I look, living in baggy shapeless black clothing, not interested in sex at all etc. something twigged in my brain finally after many failed attempts and in April I stcarted logging everything on my fitness pal and weighing every week.

Within three weeks I had been able to streamline what I was eating and getting my macros right.

I've lost 18lb now and can't tell
You how much better I feel.

My knees or hips don't ache. I don't feel so hefty at all and my sex drives back.

My skin is looking so much better and my energy levels are better than they've been for years.

I genuinely feel great and confidence in what I'm wearing and how I feel is getting better every day.

I have another 1 stone ish to go but it's the longest I've stuck to losing for many years

i feel you, and its totally ok to just sit with the sadness for a bit before you get on with the hard work again so dont feel bad about giving yourself a bit of a break in the short term. Everyone is allowed to feel shite sometimes.
You've done it before, you can do it again and im sure you will! Dont rush yourself before youre ready, be kind to yourself xx

Please dont be buying from 3rd parties, no matter what they are offering . Buy from an official source

@curlysue1991 , right now you are coming to terms with what you know you have to do so well done getting to this place. Just cos you have woken to this place, you dont have to dive right in, nows the time to make plans , do research and decide what is going to work for you

No matter what route you choose, it all boils down to calories in and calories burned, its as simple as that and no matter what, you cant out run a bad diet

Myself personally I joined SW because I need the accountability . I dont do the whole syn thing any more because over the months I have learned how to not only choose the healthier choices , but Im actually now enjoying them, it works for me, and I can see myself eating this way moving forward ( 18 moths now ) but I accept its not for everyone, I like it because they just put foods into simple, dont need to calorie count food groups so seriously my life is too busy to count a calorie

But saying that, as Ive lost weight, Im much more interested in nutrition and what my body needs. As in my own body, with the lifestyle I have and the amount of exercise I do so Im much more leaning towards calorie deficit and looking towards macros etc, stuff I never had a clue about and stuff SW doesnt teach

But SW helped me get started. I saw losses , not huge, its been a lb a week average, yet Ive never felt Ive denied myself anything. So for me it was never a diet, it was being supported into weight loss and a new way of eating which was so gradual I seriously dont feel deprived and now I can work out whats best for me
