How to lose the c section tum?

I have had 3 c sections and my tummy is just revolting. It's far too big and disproportionate to the rest of my body. Any tips on losing the large mum tum? I eat reasonably well and I'm actively trying to cut out the UPFs. I know I need to do more exercise but the kids are just exhausting and youngest keeps me up for a lot of the night 😴

The only way to lose fat is to be in a calorie deficit. Are you a healthy weight overall?

You just need to lose weight

But even then it won't go completely

It's tough

It can be about toning up the stomach muscles which is exercise. Have you looked at chair exercise? It's gentle but seems to get rests on toning bodies up.

Thank you for your replies. Not a particularly healthy weight but it's all on my tummy. It's so stubborn. Does anyone have any good exercises for shifting it around the middle?

You can’t lose weight from a specific place . All you can do is to tone the abdominal
muscles and be in a calorie deficit to lose weight generally

You can't lose fat with exercise and you can't choose where the fat goes when you do lose it, sorry

Same here, three sections. I hate my stomach so much as well lol, all you can do it get your weight generally down it's the first place it goes for me when I put weight on. Have started to accept it's just the way it is and try to keep weight down so it's at a point I feel comfortable with :/ it really affects how you feel / what you can wear doesn't it.

Didn't mean to put lol it's deffo not a laughing matter ! :)

I'm the same, I've had 3 c-sections. The area above the scar hangs over and won't go. It gives me a very strange shape and like you say any weight goes immediately to that area!

I have lost the weight and I'm now a healthy weight, a small size 10, and I've been exercising lots so I'm pretty fit and toned all over. It's still there. It's a lot better but it's the way my shape is now. It won't change without a tummy tuck.

Don't be disheartened - I'm a lot happier now than a year ago. But it is frustrating that I have to work so hard to look a normal-ish shape.

Ps I didn't start losing weight and exercising more until my youngest was about 2 and reliably slept. I could never had done it with a small baby.

You cannot get a flat tummy through exercise.
Everyone has abs (to some degree), but they are covered by fat or loose skin. Weight loss has helped mine a lot. I do also exercise but it’s not the reason it got smaller

All my weight sits on my stomach. I've lost a stone in the last month (Mounjaro) and back to being a healthy BMI, but my stomach is still awful and destroyed by pregnancy and my section. My next step is to save for a tummy tuck - nothing else is going to shift it.

4 years on and I still have an overhang.. it's awful! Nothing looks good anymore :(
