All I want is a filthy, greasy Chinese takeaway

A beige, deep fried mountain of fat and carbs, smothered with curry sauce and prawn crackers 😭🤤

Instead, I'm having a huff because I've been trying to lose weight for over 18 months, I'm more or less the same weight despite tracking every morsel of food I eat, going to the gym 3 times, going to the GP for blood tests, taking Orlistat, cutting out pretty much every food I enjoy and having only rich tea biscuits as a treat.

So now I'm starving and having a sulk because I don't bloody well want chicken and veg, a chicken wrap, omelette or jacket potato AGAIN. Just checked the kitchen cupboard thinking I could have a treat tea of beans and sausages on toast only to find we just have the normal beans and NOT the ones with the sausages 😭

Not even sure why I'm still bothering but if I give in I'm just going to get even bigger.

That's it, that's my rant. And breeeeaathe...

I know SW is frowned upon on here but it does work - and keeps working whilst you follow the basics

I have chinese, I have cheesy chips and curry sauce, only the chinese is HM and the chips are handcut and air fried , cheese is measured and as a daily allowance and the curry sauce is HM ( I make a batch using onions as the thickener ) and freeze in small portions

Its a really easy way of eating, eat freely lean meats, fish, veg, grains, some fruits, rice, pasta ,eggs, go easy on the dairy, cut unnecessary fats. So sure have a sandwich, make it wholemeal bread and dont use butter, fill it a foot high if need be with salad and protein - and its what is classed as a free meal

The syns, use on the high fat /high sugar ingredients - mayo, olive oil etc, alcohol ( G&T 3 syns ) chocolate if needed etc and as long as you keep to no more then 15 syns you will lose weight without having to weigh and measure everything

Ive lost 2stone+ in 10 months and have been maintaining since Feb, pretty easily tbh as the plan "trains you" to pick the healthier choices naturally and if I do go mad and pig out on cake and crisps, its no big deal as the following day I go back on plan. It is a plan for life but it really is easy to maintain long term

Have the Chinese op, and bloody enjoy it!
I find making a big pan of homemade soup really helps it’s comforting and filling and very good for you.
ditch the bread- high sugar content.

also re your weight fluctuations, when I am due on my period I gain 5lbs! Then it comes off literally as soon as my period stops.

water is your best friend. Lemon in hot water every morning and at least a 1.5l bottle per day.

don’t worry about the scales. Just focus on eating healthy, not weighing Foods etc, focus on masking healthier choices and it will fall
off.

I am 5ft 4 weighed 17stone at my heaviest. Doing all the above I have lost 3 stone in 8 months. Good luck op xx
