Hormone supplements meno-belly

Hi all,
Since Covid i have stopped running (pelvic floor is too leaky anyway), i have started a new desk based job full time and i am peri menopausal...
all in all i have put on a good 10-15kg...
I have finally decided to do something about it.
I keep seeing these adverts about menopausals supplements (like happy mamooth)...

Has anyone tried? Did it help with the "meno-belly"? Any side effects/contrindications?
Many thanks

TBF you also stopped running and started a sedentary job. Have you tried the old fashioned (and cheaper!) route first?😉

I tried every supplement going. What worked in the end was a hard-core diet.

There is a physical reason it happens- your body is desperately trying to create its own oestrogen which is contained in fat cells.

I discovered I can only eat 1400 calories a day to maintain my weight. I need to eat 1000 a day to lose. It's depressing.

Ive lost 7st so far during perimeno so it def didnt make me put on weight!
However my waist is now 5ins bigger then when I was the same weight but younger.
Im within a normal weight range, I do weight training and pilates several times a week, eat a healthy diet....my shape has just changed.

I’m not sure if I am in peri - zero symptoms but definitely the right age bracket, but I gained, to my great surprise, some belly fat two years ago. Lost it without supplements but it was the last thing to go and I always had a flat belly (and huge tights 😅) before. Healthy food, very limited alcohol, portion control and overall body training (cardio, strength, flexibility) worked for me.

Thank you... but the thing is I have literally zero time now! Full time work/ studying for professional doctorate/3 ND kids/a house renovation
Im already on the verge of burning out... i cant see myself taking one hour of my schedule anywhere...

Thank you for your feedback... thats what i wanted to avoid.... 1000 cals is not a lot... but maybe the only way to go...
