Worth trying mounjaro/wegovy if saxenda didn’t work for me?

I previously low carbed with some success but found it hard to maintain. Tried saxenda a couple of years ago - you inject it daily.
it made me feel nauseous but in a way that made me crave carbs! And so I ate regardless and it didn’t really work for me. I also didn’t enjoy the sulphur-y burps.

if I didn’t respond well to saxenda does that mean it’s not worth trying ozempic/moujaro/wegovy or do they work in different ways?

I overeat and eat even when I’m not hungry, I think to some degree eating is a sensory thing for me

Yes I would try it. Saxenda worked really well for me, but wegovy not so much so they are different and apparently wegovy usually has a higher success rate- I must be immune 😂
I'm with VOY and I've just switched back to saxenda from wegovy, if you want to try them I have a code for some money off cos every little helps!!

I tried Ozempic a couple of years ago and stopped after two doses. It didn't do much and what happened is triggered binge eating, because its supposed to suppress appetite right? Yes that's on me of course.

I started MJ four weeks ago tomorrow and am half a pound off losing a stone. I did have to approach this with a different mindset certainly but I got appetite suppression within hours of starting and barely ate anything the first day as a result. side effects have been minimal.

It's mad isn't it! Like I said saxenda worked really well for me and wegovy didn't do hardly anything!

That’s really interesting
I have binge eating tendencies too.
i had thought ozempic was same as mounjaro but appears they are different too.

i will think about whether to try.
im worried about what happens when you come off.
also if you have to have a BMI of more than 30 to begin with (I do - early 30s) do you stop being able to get it when your BMI gets to 29 I wonder
