12st 7lbs

it’s been a really hard few months. Managed to maintain over Christmas and new year which is an accomplishment. After the loss of our wonderful dog I’ve struggled to stay on track but I’m finally starting to get back on track

@Ihavenoideawhatmyusernameis this is amazing! Could you detail how you did it? What's your meals like?

I’ve kept it simple - calorie counting based on my tdee and couch to 5k.

I eat anywhere between 1600-1800 calories per day with one (sometimes two) days up on 2000. Plus exercise at least 3x per week. I make sure I eat enough protein and fibre and drink 3 litres a day (water). I don’t count teas and coffees but only have a couple

I weigh daily - keeps me on track, I accept my weight loss isn’t linear, but happy as long as my overall trend is down.

i log everything! Even a mouthful of cheese! Everything goes on my fitness pal.

hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else xx

Meals wise - I eat salad or veg with everything. I still eat bread and cake! I just count it all in my allowance. Loads of fruit! Greek yogurt (fat free) is fab - goes with breakfast and lunch. Plenty of fish, chicken and I allow my self 150g max of air fried chips so I do try and keep the carbs down if I can! Ultimately I have what I want - but measure and count it all! I deprive myself of nothing, I’m learning how to moderate portions and undo years of trauma/anxiety eating. Low contact with my mother helped! 🤣

@Ihavenoideawhatmyusernameis it's absolutely amazing! I'm at 97.5kg and it just doesn't budge. Currently trying one meal a day. I just want to lose 10kg at least

I’ve just come through a three month plateau. Trusted the process and never changed a thing. Knew I had to push through. One meal a day probably isn’t enough and your body will try and protect itself by going into starvation mode x

So pleased I've found this thread. Wow, you've done so well. Congratulations!
I am on a similar journey. In March 2024 I weighed 18 stone 10lbs. Current weight is 13 stone 2lbs. I am quite tall and my goal weight is 11 stone 10lbs, so around 1.5 stone to go. We can do this!!!
