Hello all,

Struggling to keep up with weightloss thread on here so hoping if I start one, I will! I've been slowly losing weight over the last eight months or so. Now going to the gym 3 times a week, on Week 7 of Couch to 5k. Need to be more careful with food. On holiday mid June, at a wedding end of July. Would like to lose a stone by end of July.

Start weight: 226lbs
Currently 206.6lbs

Anyone like to join me, who is increasing exercise and losing weight slowly?

I had a much better week this week. Thank you @OkyDoke ☺️

I sat myself down and gave myself a really good talking too. How all this snacking and mainly on the wrong things is getting me nowhere.

I ended up losing 1 lbs this week which I am pleased with.

I am planning on doing my measurements again in August. Hoping I will see some difference to them.

The walking pad is is good. It helps I work from home so I like to hop on for a couple of minutes at a time throughout the day. The only thing is how expensive they are mine was £169 which I believe is one of the cheaper ones.

Hope everyone is doing alright.

Great to hear from you @LeftyLou ! Sounds like you've made positive progress which is all any of us want!

I hurt my ankle on Monday so had to leave off Couch to 5k, but managed it last night, I really missed it on Monday.

I think I'm around a lb down, too.

Start weight: 226lbs
Currently: 203.4lbs

Would love to knock those 3.4 off pretty soon!

I think it's good when you miss something you couldn't do on a certain day. Especially exercise.

I did couch to 5K a few years ago. I enjoyed it and I liked the fact Jo Whiley was on the podcast. I think you can have other people talking to you now?

I haven't kept up with running though. I find it hard and get kind of panicky when I get out of breathe.

I am taking my weight everyday just to see a trend. I am maintaining this week so fingers crossed it'll be down a bit by Wednesday.

I've just seen an 11 on my scales! 11st 13lbs and 7/8 but still an 11 🤣 Not bad after a weekend away. Onwards and downwards!

OkyDoke · 28/05/2024 16:18

Running is 100% not for everyone, but at the moment it's working for me!

I take my weight most days ton get an average too. I've put on about half a pound over long weekend, but my weight this morning is less than lass Monday so I'm happy!

Well done@Bumblebeebum23 I'm away this weekend, so expecting a gain next week.

Another 1 off for me this week which I am really happy with.

I am starting back on SW next week after nearly a month away with me not been in the right mind set for it. I have just tried to keep making mindful and healthy choices where I can which has been good for me because I feel I could have easily gone back to group a stone heavier! If I wasn't careful.

Think I will start posting my weight again on here with next week been my new starting weight for a fresh start.

I also have an app on my phone where I am weighing in most days just to see a trend of where I am, and to see the heaviest my weight has fluctuated which is 15 stone .5

My focus this week is to have a walk around the block every day on the working week and to use my dumbbells on the weekend.

Feeling motivated and positive!

Wishing everyone a good week ahead.

I'm trying for slow and steady but it does get a little disheartening sometimes when the scale barely moves!

I want to reach my goal weight by my birthday in October. If I lose half a pound a week that gets me to 7st 12lbs (50kg)

Seems pretty sustainable at that rate and I've done it before although I was 6 years younger and on the right side of 35!

Hello if anyone is still there!

Just got back from a weeks all inclusive, but 2.5lbs on according to my scales yesterday but gone this morning!

CW: 204lbs

Got a wedding to go to in month, so would love to be in the 100's.
