Sea bass skin... how calorific?

I love sea bass. I'm currently eating meals with tons of vegetable and protein, and no carbs, and it's working well - have lost a stone in 6 weeks. I always eat the skin on sea bass and salmon - it's delicious. However, is it proportionately more calorific than the rest of the fish, in the same way chicken is? If so, I'll take it off. Couldn't find an answer from a quick Google, so wondering if anyone happens to know!

I wouldnt worry too much as long as its a small portion, there will be good fats in it.

Maybe you could look at the packs in a supermarket and see if there is info of skinless & skin on to compare their nutritional info per 100?

That's a good idea but I don't think the supermarket sells it without skin! Thank you though.

Eating salmon skin will also add more calories to the diet than salmon with no skin, and people who are watching their fat or calorie intake would want to factor this into their diet plans.

Thanks - yes, I assumed it would add calories, but I'm interested in how much.

M&S sells bags of salmon fillets with & without skin - the no skin ones are in the freezer. They are the same size portions so definitely comparable in a store!
They're not expensive and really handy individual portions that I always keep in the freezer. Not good on the single use plastic front though.
