I started last year, did ok but lost interest after a few weeks. Looking to start again but I was wondering , do you have to keep listening to the pods forever to keep successful? What would hapoen if you reach goal and stop listening? Is this discussed anywhere in the videos or articles ?

Also any general tips or advice gratefully received!

Me! Started about 7 months ago having tried everything to lose the menopausal weight gain. By the end of the 12 weeks I'd lost just over a stone. Haven't lost much since (another 4 lbs or so) but my clothes all fit better and I'm in the healthy weight range. Most of all, my eating habits have really improved, I don't binge eat in the evenings and chocolate has lost its appeal. I don't think you stop listening. I do think because I'm happy with where I am, I've become less strict with myself and I think if I stopped listening I'd go back to square one. It's just habit now, I listen as soon as I go to bed. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough. There's lots of info on the members FB page and some great before and after stories.

Very inspiring post, thanks! I still have access to the full 12 weeks so I think i'll give it another try. I'm just worried about having to make a lifelong commitment to listening to the pods, I can't imagine having to do this forever!

You're welcome! One of my reasons for trying slimpod was that I couldn't face the thought of doing weight watchers or another "diet" forever. I was eating porridge with water and stressing about eating things like sweetcorn! Now I eat sensibly and healthily (most of the time). Listening to the pod has become routine like taking my make up off and brushing my teeth (actually probably a good time to listen to it!) and to me it's much less daunting than being on a diet forever. Good luck! It's been life changing for me.

Me too! I'm almost a year in.

I lost 2 stone in the first 9 months or so and am no longer obese- so that's a big "win"
The last few months have been very stressful, and I haven't lost any more, BUT I haven't gained and I still seem to be changing shape/ loosing my belly. Without slimpod I suspect I would have eaten throughout this stress and gained
I do still listen most days, because I feel it helps keep me on track and once life is a bit calmer I would like loose another 2 stone.
I hate listening in bed- it gives me the fidgets, so I just put it on while I'm getting ready for bed/ cleaning my teeth etc and that works for me
Good luck!
