Stone in 5 weeks??

Hey everyone I’m due to go on holiday in 5 weeks 5 days and I’ve still got another stone to lose. So far I’ve lost four stone but for the life of me I can’t shift the remaining 16lbs I need to get to my goal weight / size.

I’m currently 9 stone 10lbs so by all means a healthy weight but I still have a rather large C section over hang and ‘B’ belly that can be seen through anything that isn’t lose fitting. My arms are flabby, as are my thighs and I still have a slight double chin.. I’m 22 for context!! Just unfortunately piled on the weight before pregnancy and am now paying for it.
I usually do slimming world but following the plan religiously with syns as well doesn’t result in weight loss anymore. Calorie counting doesn’t seem to work for me either.

How can I shift a stone in 5 weeks? Is it double?
I can’t go to a gym nor do home workouts, me and my son contact sleep so I can’t workout when he’s asleep as we have to be touching all the time otherwise he wakes up!!! If I do it whilst he’s awake he has a tantrum as he’s not getting enough attention 🙃 advice and tips please

A stone is about 10% of your body weight. I don't think it's realistic to lose that in 5 weeks. Maybe aim for 7lbs.

I don't think a stone is possible. You might manage 8lbs, at a push, doing the Fast 800 diet or similar. It sounds like you have a lot of loose skin from all the previous weight loss though (well done for that) and I'm not sure that will be lost by losing more weight

Do 30 day shred. You might not lose a stone but you will tone up.

Oops sorry didn't read properly.

You've already lost 4 stone and you are in the healthy weight range so your body is resisting more weight loss. If you keep doing what you have been doing it will continue to come off but slowly and with plateaus. I've been there! The quick loss option is a low carb diet but the problem with that is that you regain the weight afterwards if you don't stay on a fairly low carb programme, in my experience. Is there someone who can look after the baby just for 20 minutes a day so you could do some toning exercises? Darcey Bussell's Pilates for life dvd has a fifteen minute mini plan for the time starved and is very gentle but does help with muscle tone.

I know you said it would be difficult but I think you need to find the body coach on line and do his workouts. You might be surprised. Having mummy jump up and down might be a good distraction from a tantrum.
Similarly you can do an abs workout on the floor beside him. Push ups too. Make it a game, kiss him every time you come down.

You need to tone now rather than diet. Keep up what you are doing but now you need to build some muscle and shrink. More lean muscle will help you burn fat faster too.

I’d do 30 day shred as well. Takes about 20 minutes per day. Do you have a partner - if so could they take the baby for those few minutes if you think they will tantrum.

If you are a single parent, there must be times when you are not glued to your baby already. How do you shower or go the loo currently? Or vacuum the house? Whatever you are doing then, you could surely also do when you need a few minutes to work out?

My son was the same - still is sometimes at 4.5! He does see his dad but i have always priorities socialising over health while hes there which means I'm only just shifting the weight now, so kudos to you.

How is your little one in the pram? Or a carrier? Walking at a decent pace was my only real cardio even before I had mine (I lost a few stone before pregnancy... then put it all back on because pasts and bread was all I seemed to be able to eat 😂😭)

I bet there are some babywearing workouts out there!

We shower together, he also comes into the toilet with me. Glamorous I know. When I tell you we do everything together, I mean it. I don’t have a village nor someone who will watch him for me for any period of time whilst I get on and do anything. My family aren’t like that.
He likes the hoover so usually he just sits on the other side and tries to help me push it haha

Will he cope being in pram for any length of time? Can you do long power walks
