How much weight did you lose before you started to notice it in your clothes?

I've lost a stone and so my clothes are kind of just fitting better but not lost a dress size. Got another 2 stone to go. At 12 and a half stone and should really be 10 and a half.

So now I'm a comfortable size 16 rather than in a 16 that should have been an 18. And I could possibly fit into a generously sized 14 pair of trousers.

Just curious rather than impatient.

From memory, I am 5’5 and also was a 16/18

at 2st loss none of the 16/18 clothes fitted me properly anymore

at 3st size 14’s started to get baggy

I’m 3st 7lbs down now and a size 12 in some shops. I still wear some of the 14’s but they aren’t tight fitting at all but I can get away with them at work. I don’t buy anything new yet cos I am not finished.

I still weigh 11st 11lbs but I can get in size 12’s now. My measurements seem to tally that it’s more muscle than fat that’s giving me at a higher weight but I still am trying to get to 10st 10lbs and I will be a size 8/10 on top, 10/12 on bottom.

I'm a very similar weight OP, 1 stone down 2 to go. I have 1 pair of jeans that are officially out of use, they were the last things I bought when I was at my biggest and also very cheap so possibly stretched. They are 16 but wider leg and very wide waist, the waist is too big now. Other size 16 stuff fits, I have jeans that were too tight that are fitting normally again. I have a coat that was tight across the bust so I was zipping it down a bit and wearing a scarf but now I can comfortably zip it up. Last night I wore PJs that I had given up on, they were fitting but not comfy so I stopped wearing them a year ago. I am claiming a victory!! I have measured myself and I lost 3 inches on my waist, 2 on my bust and 1 on my thighs.

Went for lunch today and put on some size 16 trousers I’ve not worn in a while and thought they are a bit tight but fine. Got home and realised they were a size 14! Whoop!

I have lost 15 kilos and can see my clothes are baggy. Especially around my thighs and boobs.

Still
Not confident to go and try on smaller sized clothes though, will keep going until I absolutely have no choice. And I quite like that my jeggings wrinkle rather than being skin tight.

(Not so thrilled about the boob shrinkage 😂)
