Lunches in a Kilner jar or Tupperware.

I have no access to a kitchen or microwave. I'd love ideas for healthy lunches that I can pre-plan and bung in the fridge the night before.

I'm a bit addicted to rice and cous cous, so something that will fill me up as well as being as low as possible in calories.

Really need to get my stuff together.

If I am doing something like chicken with rice I often cook a little extra and put it in a tub next day with some salad.

Canned cooked chickpeas + jarred red peppers + parsley/coriander + marinated chicken + lemon and olive oil dressing

Brown lentils + cooked beetroot + feta or goats cheese + walnuts + balsamic dressing

Quinoa + edamame + red cabbage + chicken + satay dressing (lime, peanut butter, soy sauce)

Where possible buy the pre-cooked sachets of grains for ease, and pre-marinated chicken, if you want to keep things simple and quick.

Nice!!!

Protein options as suggested. Also vegetables, so a pasta salad with chicken and chopped vegetables, for example. Small amount of pasta/rice/couscous say 25%, then divide the 75% between protein and vegetables or salad.

I dont know why someone would use a kilner jar, very heavy and if you drop it a right mess/dangerous

I would get a hot food flask, they come with a spoon in their lid, really good

I used an empty Bol Pot container - they're wide necked and used to come with a screw top. Just the right size. I expect the OP just meant something the size of a kilner.
