Possible to loose 10lbs in 6 weeks?

Hi,
I'm at the top end of my bmi for height after having a baby 8 months ago and would love to loose some weight for a girlie spa day coming up in 6 weeks time. Also my 40th later in the year.
I'm still breastfeeding a bit so don't want to restrict too much. Have previously done the 2:5 diet and lost nearly 2 stone but don't want to do that with breastfeeding.
Am I being unrealistic?
Any weight loss tips to lose 10lbs in 6 weeks?
Thanks

Cut out all junk food. I did that and lost a stone in a month whilst breastfeeding. Changed absolutely nothing else about my diet.

It's possible, but probably wont be enjoyable!

Congratulations on your baby. I lost weight after my babies by walking. Lots of pram pushing daily. I breastfeed and didn't see a change for months, then whoosh it was gone.

Eat a healthy diet, drink lots of water and move would be my advice.

Oh 100% possible! I recently lost 1stone in about 1 week due to illness. Wouldn't recommend it though.

I think that's easily achievable. It's 1.5 lb a week so work out your maintenance calories and reduce by 750 per day. Or less if you're willing to increase your exercise. The calories would feel restrictive if you had a lot to lose but for six weeks it's doable I think.

Not being thick, so that would be sweet stuff, take aways etc, what about refined things? White carbs.

@Redruby2020 anything you perceive as junk food.

pizza, burgers, fries, crisps, cake, biscuits, chocolate, sweets, soda.

I just ate 3 normal meals a day and snacks were fruit or yoghurt if needed. My entire family went to fast food restaurants and I’d have a water. It was only a month, I did it for charity.

Thankyou.

Yes I see what you mean.

Yes I had a good patch like that back in 2022 lol. But it does help. Then you have less cravings too etc.

Yes it is possible. I did this the end of last year. No alcohol (you probably aren’t anyway), sugar or crisps. No calorie counting though. I ate 3 meals a day, the last one at 6.30 in the evening.

Yes I’m 6.4lbs down since 1st Jan. Definitely possible but I’m not breastfeeding and am 1200 cals a day. But a lot of steps

Breastfeeding made it easier for me. I did. weightwatchers to lose baby weight and it fell off quickly, and it wasn’t very restrictive
