Will I have to take more and more ozempic/wegovy for ever and ever?!

Hey,

I've lost over 2 stone since spring using ozempic. I'm now into "overweight" BMI rather than "obese". I'm 40 and been struggling my whole life. I think I've just always had a bigger appetite than others. I feel hunger, even when cutting out sugar/most carbs.

I used to find 0.5 did the trick but the effects lessened over time...I'm now up to 1mg but finding the hunger creeping back.

Will I need to keep upping my dose FOREVER to avoid the hunger returning?

I've sort of come to terms with probably having to be on some sort of medication forever to stay a healthy weight.

But it only goes up to 2.4mg - what then?

I'm in a similar position to you. Currently on 1mg (Ozempic), have lost 10kgs over 4 months but have now plateaued and my appetite has defo returning. Still can't seems to stomach booze though which is something!

I was wondering if I should increase my Ozempic dose? To 1.25mg? Or if I should consider moving to Wegovy (but the place I'm getting mine from doesn't seem to offer Wegovy yet, so I guess I'd have to start over with another supplier as doubt they'd let me go straight in at a higher amount).

Not sure what to do for the best really! Will try moving injection sites next though to see if that helps at all!

I have used Ozempic and I am on 0.5 mg and was able to count clicks!
can only see Wegovy now as Oz is not available.
can I buy 1mg pen and count clicks on Wegovy?

Eat less, move more.

Far cheaper and healthier.

Oh shut up. As if obese haven’t thought of that or tried it. You sound so ignorant. There’s plenty of medical articles and studies that proves that it isn’t as cut and dry as that. Get a life.
