Fast 800

Just about to step on the scales finally…think it’ll be at least 15stone 7 sadly. My birthday was this week and I really don’t want any more overweight ones! Mid forties, always tired, always hungry, but I hope I can finally find the real me again, and fast 800 seems a good way to try. Anyone else doing it?
Today’s Meals: porridge, lentil mousakka & green salad.

I've downloaded the books onto my kindle and hoping to start on Wednesday when my sainsbury order arrives:) done my meal plan
am thinking of doing 5:2, eating no more than 1300 calories most days and dropping down to 800 calories on Wednesdays (non officer day) and Sundays. Have 20kg to lose.
Does that sound like the right way to do Fast 800?

This is my plan for the 800 calorie days:

Green tea (no calories)
Either porridge or Purition with yoghurt (250ish calories)
Lunch (250 calories)
Green tea (no calories)
Dinner (300 calories)

70lbs to lose, but slow and steady and I know I can do it. Headache all last night, but not hungry which is good. Taking electrolytes now. I’m doing a few 23hr fasts to reset my mind, so will enjoy my food in a small window later this morning.
Today - Banana fast800 shake, fast 800 protein bar, vegetable soup and kefir yoghurt.

I would defo recommend reading the fast 800 book or signing up to the online app and doing the plan 'properly'. 800 calories is not much so you need to use it wisely to fill you up! Small protein heavy meals are the best. I have a general pattern of natural yogurt/berry smoothie for breakfast at around 11, either leftovers or protein based salad for lunch and fish/chicken and veg type dinner. The books suggest you have 'free' vegetable with every meal so no need to count them. I've found this sustainable over the 12 weeks - otherwise I think you'll go crazy with hunger with shakes and bars. Also - no snacking at all between meals.
