I'm trying to eat more sensibly and lose some weight. I eat well.but too much! Can I take it that if I pile veg on my plate thsts pretty much all to the good and I shouldn't worry about veg portion size?

Not talking potatoes or butter drenched veg....but salad Peppers greens etc.

I'm interested in seeing what feedback you get to this. I once tried Weight Watchers. I didn't like it, but my takeaway was that one one of the groups you get put in you didn't have to count calories from unsullied vegetables, and I think the same went for fruit but I'm not so sure about that.

Veg is great.
It also has calories though but if you are volume eater like me, it's perfect.

If you are not counting, absolutely go for it without faff and see how more veg and less of something else suits you. Good for your body and the mind! It may absolutely work for your weightloss as well. Just be mindul of what goes with that veg bit of fat, protein some more filling carb and you have a winner

I have downloaded the Second Nature app and they advise a "balanced plate" model of half vegetables (of the type you mention) quarter protein & quarter carbohydrate. If you have a carb free meal, go two thirds vegetables & one third protein.
