What to eat on holiday to lose weight?

I am on a 1400 kcal diet with MyFitnessPal, have recently started and I am doing well. Going on holiday in a couple of weeks but don't want to throw away all the effort so keen to try and stay on track whilst also enjoying myself (won't restrict myself too much but would just like to be mindful of choosing better options).

For reference, I will travel to a Greek Island. I know grilled fish is a good option. What do you eat on holiday to ensure you stay on track with weight loss?

A Mediterranean diet - lots of salads, feta, olives, fish - is brilliant, and it’s easy to keep to restricted calories, as long as you steer clear of sticky pastries like baklava, and only drink wine in moderation.

Stick to salad, fruit and anything low calorie. Though, as it's a holiday, I would enjoy and then just diet when you come back!!

Salads on holiday are always nice at lunchtime (steer clear of oily or creamy dressings)
Soup, omelette, fish, grilled meat, seafood - all with local veg and potatoes. Fresh fruit, Icecream or sorbet for desserts.
Avoid chips, fried food, loads of bread, pizza etc.
But do allow yourself a treat - you are on holiday.

We went to Greece recently and we only had 2 meals a day - late breakfast buffet then went out for dinner. Lots of salads; grilled fish, grilled chicken, avoid the bread and chips!

I had calamari with a green salad, grilled fish ( left the chips), tuna salad, seafood saganaki, grilled prawns, seafood risotto and left most of the rice. Greek yoghurt with a little honey and nuts and seeds for breakfast. Omelette is also good. I managed to avoid the bread, mostly...

I put on 2lbs in 2 weeks which I didn't think was bad at all.
