Passing out/ dizzy Ozempic?

Hi all, I’ve done a search and can’t find anything in previous posts. I was wondering if anyone has passed out/blacked out while on Ozempic?

I was gardening a few weeks ago and was dizzy getting up and down, but do yoga most days and fine.

Today I was in the garden with my dogs and was bending down with the dog pool playing with their toys. One dog squirted a toy covering me in cold water. I laughed and stood up having a conversation with my husband about him getting the phone to take pictures. As I stood up I had to steady myself on the wall saying I felt hot and dizzy. Next thing I know my husband is pulling me into a sitting position and I’m on the floor.

My husband said I didn’t say I was dizzy (he was waiting for me to answer about getting the phone), so I must have passed out before saying it. Said I stood up, against the wall and then just went sideways.

I’ve read only a couple of post online with someone saying similar. I don’t drink alcohol, was pretty tired 5/6 hour drives back to back days and a 4am start, and had a lot of water yesterday being out in the sun. But other than that not much different to usual.

It’s been a week since last injection and was due today (have been on for 3 months and was really happy with results prior to this morning). Oh I’m on 1mg.

As its something that suppresses your appetite maybe you aren't getting enough calories or hydration and the drug is blocking the signals that tell you you are hungry or dehydrated.

It sounds dangerous and you're lucky it happened at home and with your DH there, please try to increase your fluid intake (especially with the weather we have been having) and make sure you're eating a healthy amount.

If it continues see the Dr or try coming off the drug

Thank you. It has frightened me (and husband) as I’ve never actually passed out before. I’ll keep an eye on it and maybe hang off taking anymore for a week or two

@Azulocean It could be many things really, too much sun, dehydrated, low blood sugar... The low blood sugar could be an Ozempic side-effect, it's listed in the info leaflet you get with the pen but only you know what and when you'd previously eaten. But low blood sugar isn't confined to people who take Ozempic, it happened to me 3 or 4 times many years ago when I was young, fit and healthy. I'd raise it with your prescriber and see what they say.
