DS is getting married on the 4th July on his fiancés home island. It is being rushed as her DM has been given a terminal diagnosis. It is still going to be a wonderful event for both families, very intimate but very special.
This is the problem, I am an emotional eater and there has been a lot happening in my immediate family over the past two years to turn me into a sphere. I had already been on the Fast 800 diet for over a week when they announced the wedding and am getting back to exercising everyday but the list of things to bring includes 3 swimming costumes and there is a boat day planned. Could I go down to 600 calories a day for the next month?

No please don’t. The problem with really restrictive diets is that they’re really difficult to stick to. So then you can’t do it, feel you’ve failed and give up.

You need something that is sustainable long term. Intermittent fasting is the only thing that I could sustain (I try to only eat between 11am - 7pm).

Focus on what you can change. Posture makes such a difference to how you look and feel - I love yoga for that. Pilates is good too.

I usually do two classes of Pilates a week but have just given up for a few weeks as I missed so many lately due to my DM being diagnosed with a brain tumour - her medical appointments always clashed with the classes. It seems the fat just hangs off my abs! I also eat between 12 and 8 but it is amazing how many calories you can pack into that time with mindless eating.
The major reduction in calories would only be for 4 weeks in the run up to the wedding, afterwards I am looking at about a year to get back to size 10, I’m a fat ( rather than comfortable) 16 atm.

No, you will feel too crap and hungry to enjoy anything.

Buy swimsuits that fit and a couple of nice coverups.

Sea fancy do more full coverage swimsuits and places like Next have some lovely kimono/ dress beach cover ups in stock.

You are right about Next, absolutely my style, thank you.
