I'm looking to start Ozempic and have found you can't get it via Boots. I've seen MyJuniper - can anyone give me a reputable site to buy it from please? Thank you

Oops I clearly am not allowed to post codes, sorry. I ordered from Manual if I can work out how to send you a message I'll send you the code

AutisticLegoLover · 15/04/2023 17:12

I think it's classed as advertising and it's being clamped down on by the pharmaceutical company.

SunshineGeorgie · 15/04/2023 17:47

Lots of places sell it. Boots,Asda pharmacy online

Just google to get best prices

Fuerza · 15/04/2023 17:54

How much will you have to pay for it? I've heard the price is 1,000 dollars per month but that's in the USA. How much does it cost per month in the UK?
Just wondering really, not going to take it.

gingerbubs · 15/04/2023 17:56

I went with manual for the first month (I didn't use a code, but the website dropped it to £129 with a 'pop up' offer when I dithered a bit). I've just ordered second pen from quickmeds (£149) but looks like they went out of stock same day.

gingerbubs · 15/04/2023 17:57

I believe Boots etc will soon be doing Wegovy (same medication, different brand with UK approval for weight loss) but they don't do ozempic for weight loss alone

Lavendersquare · 15/04/2023 20:27

I've get my ozempic from Juniper and they are very professional, if you want a code for £50 off your first order drop me a pm.

BellsandSmells · 15/04/2023 21:15

Ive just been approved by Juniper - no photos or GP details required, very straightforward. With a discount code it came down to £150 I think.

BellsandSmells · 15/04/2023 23:38

Am I going to receive generic semaglutide rather than branded Ozempic from Juniper? I know it’s the same thing but worried the needle will be different - the Ozempic clicker seemed very easy to administer. I’m not sure I’ll be able to inject myself!

VanellopeVonSchweetz99 · 16/04/2023 00:06

Around £150 a month currently. QuickMeds have been good and straightforward, had a helpful phone consultation initially.
It's the Ozempic pen, not generic. Injecting is no big deal once you get the hang of it, there are instructions on Youtube (a lady called Hella Bella's video was v helpful).
I've also bought additional cheap 4mm needles since there are more doses in each pen than there are needles and an "opened" pen is good for about 50 days.
There's a dedicated Ozempic forum on here, do join.
Good luck with it, it's been great for me.

You will get branded Ozempic from Juniper and all the other online suppliers in the U.K. like Manual, QuickMeds etc
They all provide the same pen.

Thank you all. For some reason this thread was showing that I had no responses so I went with My Juniper. Hoping it's approved and not out of stock, really ready to get started!

Hey

Do you still have a code/voucher for £50 of treatment?

It’s FRIEND50

Lavendersquare · 02/05/2023 14:10

@Twiglets1 that is the code for £50 off at MyJuniper but it doesn't work on its own, you have to supply the details of the friend who refers.

The friend gets a £50 as well so it's fair.

Anyone who wants to use the code and needs a 'friend's' details just drop me a pm.

I don't know, I just read people on another thread saying you can just use the code FRIEND50 now without having to put anyone's name down.

Lavendersquare · 02/05/2023 16:33

@Twiglets1 you definitely do need a name of someone currently subscribed to MyJuniper it doesn't work on it's on.

SarahC50 · 02/05/2023 20:24

Hi I'm with my juniper and found them very good. You are assigned a health coach who looks at your current diet and makes recommendations. She will answer all queries. The slack threads are a shambles people of all stages all mixed up the Mumsnet threads are more useful. I had bad side effects and I got a phonecall from a pharmacist. I pay £200 a month and intend to stick with them for continuity. Good Luck x

BellsandSmells · 02/05/2023 20:28

The code FRIEND50 worked for me a couple of weeks ago without naming anyone. Maybe they’ve changed it.

Someone contacted me the other day because they couldn't move past the 'friend's name' box on the questionnaire without entering something.

I personally have no problem recommending MyJuniper as they are very professional and most importantly issue the pens without any fuss every month on time.

And you get £50 yourself every time you recommend it - don't forget to mention that.

There is someone on one of the Ozempic threads who is saying Juniper does have a supply issue at the moment with one of the pens so they can experience problems with supply the same as anyone else.

You are not neutral in this - I am. And I think these companies sound very similar and all you really get extra from Juniper is some basic scales that most people don't need or want thus very wasteful, and a chance to talk to other people who are also trying Ozempic which is free on Mumsnet anyway.

Lavendersquare · 03/05/2023 08:21

@Twiglets1 try reading my replies, I always make sure I mention that I get £50 as well, so what's your problem? If anyone contacts me via PM I also make sure they are aware of this.

We both get £50, what's so wrong about that?

As for supplies, I can only speak as I find and so far my order has arrived in time every month, no need to place an order, no fuss, well packaged and delivered when the courier says it will be.

Anyone who signs up can save £50 so gets their first order for £145, after that they can cancel and take their chances with Quickneds, Manual etc if they want.

I didn't have a code when I signed up and paid full price, would have loved someone to have shared how to reduce the initial cost.

I do read your replies and you don't post much with general advice for people starting Ozempic, mainly you comment to provide Juniper codes. That is fine if you aren't actively promoting Juniper over other suppliers.

But if you say things like this "I personally have no problem recommending MyJuniper as they are very professional and most importantly issue the pens without any fuss every month on time" you should mention in the post that you get £50 for referring people to them.

Because you aren't neutral and Juniper are struggling with current supply issues same as other online suppliers. I don't doubt they are professional but so are most other suppliers and they all issue the pens without fuss when there isn't a shortage of certain pens. They are also about the most expensive supplier (once past the introductory money off code) but you don't mention that.

Lavendersquare · 03/05/2023 09:09

@Twiglets1 you say I don't post about ozempic but when I say my supplier is reliable and professional, on a thread asking for somewhere reliable and trustworthy to purchase from, that's not allowed?

This is my experience and I'd like you to back off and stop accusing me of profiteering, for the record in 17 weeks of using ozempic I've received 3x £50 vouchers, one of which came from a close personal friend.
