Hi all. I asked a similar question on aibu, posting their for traffic. Stupid of me I know as the first reply was quite nasty especially considering they know nothing of my health etc. Anyway, hoping to find more supportive, like minded people here. Basically I have a box of Slender Sip and haven't tried it yet. If you've tried it, is it any good?
Thanjs.

No, I've not tried it but I've lost 25lb since September by eating less, eating smaller portions, eating less processed food, not eating after dinner and exercising more. Long term lifestyle changes are the way forward, not products that cost money and don't help change what leads people to gaining weight in the first place.

What is your diet and lifestyle like now and how much do you want to lose?

Hi, that's fantastic. I want to lose a few stone tbh. I want to lose some by July as we have a bug holiday coming up. I work in an fairly active job although currently no formal exercise. I am on my feet a lot and easily do around 12000 steps on an average workday. I initially gained weight due to ill health. I don't eat big or unhealthy meals. I can't eat a big meal so that increases my snacking which is the issue. I love crisps and bread. If I could completely cut out snacking that would do it.
You're right about the Exante though, I just hoped it would kick-start me.

Don't know about the Sip, but seems to be a quiet thread, so I thought I'd come on and say I had a problem with the bread, and find that I do better if I cut it out more or less completely. I try to have a veg omelette with a small amount of cheese for breakfast, and find that the protein makes me less vulnerable to carb cravings. I do actually feel better if I eat like this. I have a chunk to lose, and sometimes do better than others Grin

Greek yogurt has been a game changer for me. I eat the Fage total 0% fat one at lunch with frozen cherries boiled up in to a compote along with some runny honey. I'm totally obsessed with it but it really fills me up. I have porridge with semi-skimmed milk and golden syrup for breakfast. Dinner is whatever but often homemade veggie soup with 2 petit pains. Or pasta. Or a veggie burger and a few chips done in the air fryer, or homemade pizza, some days lunch is 2 light babybels, fig, plum and cranberry biscuits and an apple. Satsumas/clementines as a snack or snackajacks. Sometimes crisps. It's all in the portion sizes. No food is off limits as long as it is within my calorie allowance.
