Greek yoghurt. Not greek style. Higher protein. Protein granola- those get me off to a good start for the day and generally some roast chicken slices etc

The soup also has chicken in it.

The nitrite-free prosciutto from Lidl.
A little goes a long way in terms of flavour.

Eggs for a boiled or scrambled egg. Or a mushroom omelette.

Tins of sardine, mackerel fillets and tuna preferably in spring water.

Chick peas. Good in a filling salad, or a curry with spinach

Red cabbage. Finely shredded with carrots and dressed with ginger, lime juice and a little oil (sesame is good) for a mayo-free slaw.

I like homemade soup, the spicy carrot and lentil on the BBC website is good, but I look out for Covent Garden soups on special offer. The chicken is good and not high cal.

The sachets of Miso soup on the Japanese shelf at the supermarket.

Good as a savoury filler as a mug of soup, or a base for Ramen with a small quantity of noodles, lots of veg and some protein.

Me too. I love the sardines in a spicy tomato sauce and I quite often just peel back the lid and eat them straight from the tin.

Eggs, great in any form

Lighter than light Mayo

Cooked Roast Chicken

French Onion Soup- 94 calories a can

Unsweetened Almond Milk- far lower in calories than semi skimmed

Sugar Free boiled sweets- just to satisfy sweet cravings but me mindful of consumption or else! 😳😫😂

Yes!

Also good mashed on top of a baked potato, in a salad with chick peas and chopped red pepper/ onion / whatever you fancy

On a modest slice of toast for lunch, damp enough not to need butter, squeeze of lemon on top.

And so good for us!
