Basic exercise equipment

I'm a lazy food lover. Need to lose 2 stone to be very comfortable, stone and a half to be where I want to be.
I did join a gym last year, tailored programme, not much cardio, just weights but my food simply gets in the way (cos I love it). It did help me get a bit more defined so I'm happy if I don't lose weight but build muscle and am more defined iyknwim.
I'm now using Loseit and tracking calories and have lost maybe four pounds which is a good start! I'm wanting to gather some sensible equipment to use at home.
My first thought is adjustable dumbells so where you add weights on rather than buying a massive set. I don't have the room for treadmills or big machines and am happy to use my bodyweight for legs (squats with weights etc).
What else makes sense for you with this sort of set up? I'm lucky enough to have a massive tractor tyre outside which I might go and flip once or twice but don't hold your breath.

Adjustable DBs are handy but can be a real faff to change the weights unless you splash out on something like Bowflex. You can also get adjustable kettlebells but I've not tried those. A mat. Resistance bands. Maybe a suspension trainer.

Well done on the initial weight loss.

I’ve got a 12kg kettlebell. Can do tons with it, arms legs etc. Resistance bands are naff and wobbly, a proper weight makes all the difference.
