Low carbing and calorie counting - too much?

I've been calorie counting for a good while now using MFP but have come to a bit of a standstill. I did low carbing a few years ago so am thinking of going down that route again but would you continue calorie counting or forget about that for now?

I only have a few pounds to lose but everything just feels a bit more squishy these past few weeks! Also I'm now 47 and it's definitely harder to keep on top of my weight than it used to be (although I am way fitter!)

I'm no expert but I have to do both. I get to low calories daily by eating low carb even though not intentionally low carbing if you see what I mean?

Yes, I thought as much... Oh well, in for a penny in for a pound!

But I'll start tomorrow 😉

Cutting calories overall is certainly crucial for weight loss, many people will not see the best outcomes through calorie monitoring alone. On the other hand, lowering carbohydrates may somewhat boost metabolism while lowering hunger.

The practice of counting the number of carbs you consume at meals and snacks is known as carb counting. In a person's diet, carbohydrates like starchy, sugary, and vegetable meals can often be producers of fats and empty calories. The best approach to eating is to focus on leaner, healthier options that are lower in carbohydrates.
