I've been looking for an alternative to quick-fix weight loss after almost being tempted to try Ozempic but being terrified into not after reading reports of 'Ozempic face'. Came across the Interval Weight Loss plan in my search and I'm fascinated to know whether it works. Certainly the science makes sense. We all know that any attempt at a quick-fix diet messes with your set point so if you fall off the wagon your weight can end up being higher than when you started out – I know years of yo-yo dieting have done that to mine! Interval Weight Loss takes the sloth approach. You lose, say, 2.2kg in a month, then maintain for the next month, then lose another 2.2kg. Obviously it's not going to get you a bikini body in time for this year's holiday but according to the science, it will stop your body screaming that you're putting it into starvation mode and make you want to eat everything in sight – and eventually your step point should lower. Here's the article I read about it. It originated in Australia so I'm wondering if any Aussie MNtters have tried it?
